1、Peter Hill

Peter Hill has been in the Information Services industry for more than thirty five years with broad experience covering a number of industries including manufacturing, distribution, freight and aviation, working in both Australia and New Zealand.

Peter was the Executive Director and a major shareholder of an Australian Software Company for 12 years. Having sold his interest in the software company, over the last ten years Mr Hill has worked as a consultant and company director, primarily in the areas of software acquisition, IT management consulting, software quality management, IT project management and software testing.

Peter has been a speaker at conferences in Australia, New Zealand, Finland, UK, Spain and Malaysia and has had a number of articles published, covering key aspects of the Information Services industry. He is a past Chairman and Secretary of the Victorian branch of the Australian Computer Society and a past Director of Software Engineering Australia (Vic).

Peter has compiled and edited five books for the International Software Benchmarking Standards Group: “Software Project Estimation”, “The Benchmark Release 6”, “The Benchmark Release 8”, “Practical Project Estimation” and “The Software Metrics Compendium”. He runs courses on Project Management, with an emphasis on software acquisition projects and on the practical use of software metrics.
